Carin Goldberg
This series of book covers is an homage to graphic designer Carin Goldberg. In addition to celebrating some of her iconic imagery, the concept revolved around Goldberg’s genius of incorporating both the past and the future in her designs. Goldberg trained before the advent of digital design and was a true wizard of craft and the x-acto knife. I believe her success is due to her keen eye, smart solutions and impeccable craft. These covers showcase a mix of type dominant, image dominant and type only. A requirement was that each cover highlights a quote from the designer. Student work—design and illustration.
