Eat Organic

 

Eat Organic is a Public Service Announcement created to educate the public about eating organic and influence changed behavior. The bold and colorful style used for this piece was meant to effectively reach the target market of young professionals and early 30-year-old couples that are now on their own and buying their own food. The visual style also had a hint of nostalgia to make people think about the history of food. The folk music selection also helped carry this vintage theme. The mesh of the old and new is a juxtaposition to help people reflect on their values and to think more about what they actually eat. Use of powerful imagery and sounds—including gas masks, crop dusters and baby cries—was intended to help the audience see what their food is all about and that this food makes up who they are.
