GRC Strategies

The brand identity for GRC Strategies, a public relations consulting firm based in DC with offices in London, needed to be confident, forward-thinking, sophisticated and smart. The logotype, inspired by British typography, is set in Edward Pro, a typeface that adds a modern touch to the classic Gills Sans, with a modified “a”. The letterforms have an overall organic structure, yet are shaped by simple geometry, creating a typeface that is both elegant and modern. Body copy was set in the Avenir font family, a geometric font that pairs nicely with Edward Pro and has organic qualities that make it incredibly legible and welcoming. Colors were chosen to reflect the brand attributes. The sophistication and transparency of warm grays and white were partnered with a progressive green, a strong, modern black and a touch of orange for a bold, creative accent. The clean and modern design of the business card, website and electronic letterhead carries the identity with confidence and strength. The grid was inspired by the Golden Ratio, present in nature and known as the divine proportion that makes the most pleasing and beautiful shapes.  The website features an animated homepage and responsive design. Designed while at Levine & Associates—Marco Javier, Design Director.
